HandsOn Technologies conduct trainings in Embedded Systems – Design, Development & Training.

Interested learners can directly apply for a training. We will confirm the earliest date of starting the training and communicate the training schedule with in two working days.

We normally suggest the learners to visit us in person and see the on going training. The learner can attend sample session before actually joining the training. If it suits the purpose, the learner can pay the fees and join the training.

FAQ:

1. Who are eligible to attend the training?
   • Any individual or group with knowledge of electronics and familiarity with a programming language (C preferred) can join. There is no formal qualification required.
   • Note: The companies who want to recruit, may have specific requirements on educational qualifications.
2. How long is the training?
   • The training are conducted 5 days a week (Monday – Friday) from 9:30am to 5:30pm.
   • Total number of days may vary with the topics selected. Typically 5 days per module/topic.
   • There are many modules available. The learner can select as many modules that are required.
3. Are there job assistance after the training?
   • HandsOn assists the learners in finding suitable jobs. However, it is the responsibility of the learners to apply, face the interview and get selected.
4. What is the unique selling proposition of your training?
   • Practical learning
   • Individual attention
   • Learn from what ever your current level of knowledge is.
   • Full time intensive learning. There is no shortcut to success.
5. How much does it cost for the training?
   • It costs INR 1000 (one thousand Indian Rupees) per learner per day.
   • There is limited shared accommodation available in Kovai Saranalayam in the same campus. Kindly check with them for availability.
6. Are we doing college projects?
   • We are training the learner in what the industries expect from a prospective candidate. Our learning path will include learning the basics, selecting a problem, analysing and preparing requirements, designing modules, interfaces & test cases, performing testing and validation as per test case specifications.
   • There will be concept stage, design stage, development stage, testing stage and product release stage. The entire process is documented.
   • If the learners and the institutions find it suitable, the same can be presented in such places. We do not put restrictions on whether the knowledge is sharable.
7. Whether the training hardware/software is available for purchase?
   • We go with the hardware available in the open market. However we also have our own hardware used in the learning sessions. These are also available for sale separately.
   • We encourage the free and opensource hardware/software for learning. However, in some cases, we may end up using trial/evaluation versions of commercial software. This may cost the learner at market price.
   • We will suggest the learner the possible options available. Finally it is the learner to make a choice.
8. Working hours: All trainings will be conducted between 9:30am and 5:30pm on week days. Those staying in Kovai Saranalayam can stay back for extended practice.
9. Location and commuting:
   • We are well connected by road.
   • Neelambur in Avanasi Road is 7 km. Arasur in Avanasi Road is 5 km.
   • Kurumbapalayam in Sathy Road is 6km.
   • Sulur in Trichy Road is 14km.
   • Nearest Bus stop (Poorandapalayam) is less than 1km connects to Gandhipuram
   • Serayampalayam Bus terminus is less than 2km connects to Gandhipuram/Ukkadam.

10. Food facilities near by: Small and medium hotels providing veg/non-veg food are available in less than 1km distance.
